Refund Policy
This policy explains when you can get your money back for a Podzone subscription, how to ask for it, and what happens when you cancel. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Who processes your payment
Our orders are handled by Paddle, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle takes your payment, issues your receipt and sends any refund, so this policy is written to work alongside Paddle's own buyer terms.
2. When you can get a refund
- Your first payment — you can ask for a refund within 30 days of your first payment for a plan, unless a different period was stated when you bought it.
- Renewals — you can ask for a refund of a renewal payment within 7 days of the date it was charged.
We may decline a refund request where:
- you have made substantial use of the service in the period the payment covers — for example, using a large share of your plan's API quota;
- your account has breached our Terms of Service;
- the request is not related to how the service works, such as a change of mind;
- the purchase was clearly marked as non-refundable when you made it.
Nothing in this policy limits any right to a refund you have under the law that applies to you.
3. How to ask for a refund
Email [email protected] with the email address you bought with and the order number from your Paddle receipt. We check the purchase with Paddle, decide whether it is eligible, and aim to reply within 7 business days.
Approved refunds are sent by Paddle to the payment method you originally used. How long they take to show up after that depends on your bank or card issuer. If we refund the payment for your current billing period, your paid access ends when the refund is issued.
4. Changing or cancelling your subscription
You can change your plan or cancel your subscription at any time, either in the Podzone app or by emailing [email protected].
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
Cancelling does not refund the current period on its own, and we do not give partial refunds for unused time. If you want your money back, request a refund within the periods in section 2.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when they are posted here. If a change is significant and you are a customer, we will tell you by email.
