Know when a podcast mentions anything you care about

An alert watches every new episode's transcript for your brand, your competitors or the topics you care about. Each match comes with the passage, the show and the moment it was said — in an hourly email digest, or seconds after it is found by webhook.

Proof you can forward

A match is everything you need to put a mention in front of a client or an exec: the excerpt, the show, the episode and the timestamp, linked to the moment in the audio.

Example match

A marketing podcast · Episode 212

Alert: Acme Analytics · at 23:41

…we moved the whole team onto Acme Analytics last quarter, and honestly the reporting alone paid for it…

How it works

  1. 1

    Write a rule

Add your keywords or phrases: a brand, a product, a person, a competitor.

  2. 2

    Every new episode is checked

Podzone transcribes episodes as they are published and checks each transcript against your rules.

  3. 3

    Intelligent matching

Optionally ask a yes-or-no question, such as “is energy efficiency discussed?”. Each match is only kept if the answer is yes — so unrelated passing mentions stay out of your inbox.

  4. 4

    Your team hears about it

The people you choose get an hourly email digest. A webhook receives each match as it is found, and every match is in the app and the API.

Built for monitoring, not for noise

Watch competitors too

Track rival names beside your own and see who is talked about, on which shows.

Only the mentions that matter

Intelligent matching drops passing mentions, so a common word in your brand name does not fill your inbox.

Teams and recipients

Alerts belong to a team, and each one emails the people you pick — or nobody, if a webhook is all you want.

Signed webhooks

Each match is POSTed to your endpoint, signed so you can prove it came from Podzone, and retried if your endpoint is down. More on webhooks.

Too broad is caught early

Keywords that would match too many episodes a day are refused before the alert starts, rather than after it floods you.

Sixty days of matches

Every match stays in the app and the API for 60 days, to review and share.

Questions

How quickly do I hear about a mention?

A webhook is sent seconds after a match is found, and email digests go out every hour. When a match is found depends on when the episode is published and transcribed.

Do I need to write code?

No. Alerts are set up and read in the app. The API and webhooks are there for when you want matches in your own tools.

How many alerts can I have?

It depends on your plan; every plan, Free included, has alerts. See the plans.
